WALNUT CREEK, CA - The Chinese American Political Association (CAPA) has endorsed Mark DeSaulnier for Congress. CAPA joins a long list of local organizations in support of DeSaulnier for Congress, including the El Cerrito Democratic Club, East County Democrats for Action, and the Sierra Club.
"On behalf of CAPA, I am extremely proud to endorse Mark DeSaulnier for Congress," CAPA board member Stephen Lin said. "Throughout his years serving communities in CD 10, Mark DeSaulnier has actively worked with CAPA members and supported the Asian American community. Mark's extensive experience working with Asian Americans at the local level and his dedication to fighting for all communities in CD 10 make him well qualified to serve in Congress," Lin added
"I am truly honored to receive CAPA's endorsement for my campaign for Congress," Senator Mark DeSaulnier said. "As a Contra Costa County Supervisor, Assemblyman and Senator, I have advocated for social justice and fought against discrimination of local communities in CD 10. I have worked closely with the Asian American community in CD 10 and look forward to working for them in Congress."
